Check out this program!
You remember in the 80’s & 90’s we had the crime dog and we had D.A.R.E. to help keep us on the right track. I don’t personally know what is out there now except tons of screen time and focus on self, what one looks like, how one should look. Waste of time in my opinion. But compared to what we should be doing for children’s future, so let’s focus in as school will be getting back and kids will be faced with much more than fashion choices.
UPDATE: T.H.O.G. LOG 1
The D.A.R.E. Program came across my brain as I was shopping at a box store buying some items for a little renovation. The nice lady was telling me about a friend of hers who took 1 THC gummy (unbeknownst to be laced with Fentanyl) and that killed her. This motivated her to get community minded and reach out to others. The D.A.R.E. program is helping her do just that and made me aware that it now has to be self-sufficient but is out of the government hands. A small perk, there is a conference going on in Orlando (see Dare.org for more detail). Find out how you can take a stand even if it’s a small one for assisting our future on the international stage and get kids educated about the dangers and damage drugs can do.
The 20th Annual 2024 National School Safety Conference featuring the 36th Annual D.A.R.E. International Training Conference is the largest and most comprehensive conference focused on all aspects of school and student safety.
